It does make me wonder though, are they planning for full HD downloads or will it be the standard 6 to 8mbps downloads at a lower resolution to conserve bandwidth? If that be the case then no way will it ever starve BD sales. I didn't buy the PS3 to play movies in 720 at 6mbps, I bought it to play games and to play BD's at 24mbps in full 1080p.
Nice, that game is gonna hit 2 mill in no time. Talk about a "demo" having wings eh? It's the only game labled a demo by so many haters that seems to be selling better than most retail "full" games. Played it more last night and all I can say is I love it and can't wait for the ultimate GT5.

Not a toy. I can enlighten you here. If it is considered a toy due to its apeal to the casual market then why do we see so few adults with the latest Barbie or Hot Wheels? If it is a toy then since the PS2 apeals to the casual market as well it should be safe to say that the PS2 is a toy too. I would dare say it is a negative thing to say it's a toy and that negativity spills over onto the entire video game market. It's a console, no matter how you slice it.
Compared to Fable, MGS4 IS the coming of the next order. Sorry, but Fable on the Xbox sold what? 2.5 million units all the while, MGS on an average sold nearly 8 million per game in the series. Let's face it, the games coming for the 360 are good but the lineup for the PS3 is blowing it away this year.

Buy GTA4 with the PS3 and get free online and the game is bundled with it and the cost of the console remains the same. Buy it on the 360, pay full price for the game and console and have to purchase Live to gain full access to the online features and they slap you with a 50 dollar gift card? How many lame sites post up articles like this to generate hits, I am still buying the PS3 version. Why? Because, as game daily said, Sony made a console that at least works.
I think they see the big picture. If every game looked and played as well as Insomniacs games but with different story lines and art directions, more and more people would buy the games. it "could" be gimped to fit both consoles for a multiplatform release. Look, it's a fact that given more space, developers will chose to run with it and make games larger and better. DVD9 is old school tech and will be the bane of reaching developers and will more than likely encourage more devs later to make games for the PS3. It offers a HDD for every machine and a BD player for extra content in the retail release.
That I have a hard time seeing this game played on any other platform since the majority of them have been played on the PS systems of old. Maybe that is why it was worded that way...
Wow, and I thought having to replace a few games for scratches and running through the hassle of the RROD were tough to swallow. Glad that PS3 runs cool!
